A chilled out and funky beachside venue under the palms since 1986. The Heaven Bar is a great place to gather with your travel mates or to meet new ones! Here guests gather together every day for the famous sunsets. Dinner is served directly on the beach with your toes dangling in the sand. Both Thai Food and Western dishes are available here from Seaflower’s own kitchen. Try our fresh fish and seafood BBQ right on the beach every evening. Marinated chicken wings and pork ribs are also available for the meat lovers. Don’t forget to try our world’s best BBQ potato!
Located on the West Coast of Koh Phangan, Heaven Bar looks onto the famous Ang Thong National Marine Park which make for the perfect sunset photos. The Ang Thong islands were made famous by Alex Garlands novel ‘The Beach’ which was then played by Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie released in 2000.
Of course the movie was actually filmed on Maya Bay, but take a closer look at the map in the movie and you will see the route directly lead to Ang Thong.
Stick around long enough and you might be lucky enough to meet some of our original backpackers who could tell you a few stories of old about who and where that book was based on after all – Seaflower hosted the first regular camp trips to Ang Thong before it became commercialised.
Heaven Bar is directly linked to Seaflower’s restaurant meaning you get the full daytime menu along with our very popular Beach BBQ.
 Beachside dining is the best way to enjoy Heaven. Be sure to try our fresh fish caught daily, our very popular BBQ shrimp which has been labelled by many as the best they have eaten and of course our juicy, tender chicken wings. On top of that we are officially home to our chief ‘Chai’s’ self proclaimed “World Best Baked Potato”!
