This question varies to your personal preferences! Some people like to escape winter in their countries and visit during our High Season which is from Mid December to April. This is when the island is the busiest. The weather is also great, not too hot! The Sea level is high, and very refreshing! Others prefer it in the low season where you can have the beach to yourself, less people on the roads, and no urgency to book in advance! (Low season: May, June, October, November) (Mini High Season: July and August – Summer Holidays, many families with young children) (High Season – Mid December to the end of April)

We do take long-term/monthly bookings during the low seasons which are the months of May, June, October, and November. We don’t have ‘monthly rates’ but we will definitely discount the daily rate if you are booking for the long term! Email us at [email protected] for more information on all available options.

Kao Rha is the tallest peak on Koh Phangan. It takes about 1.5 hours to climb up and 1 hour to walk down. On top there’s an amazing view to the North and North East of the island. The hike to Bottle Beach is another good one! Start the hike at Had Khom and climb over the mountain to Bottle Beach where you can walk up to another further view point! This hike is a little easier than Koh Rha, and takes about 1 hour. You can either hike back to Had Khom for take a little long tail boat back.

Phaeng Waterfall has great walking trails up to different tiers of the falls. A view point can also be reached easily, and also a loop trail which takes about 1 hour. Thansadet Waterfall is famous on Koh Phangan because two of Thailand’s previous Kings have visited. This waterfall is on the East Coast of Koh Phangan and worth visiting even during the dry season. There’s always a little bit of water flowing down!
